Somato Respiratory Integration
Somato Respiratory Integration is a revolutionary approach that
includes specific exercises which link enhanced somatic (body)
awareness with respiration (breath).
Somato Respiratory Integration is a set of "exercises"
that help one to connect to natural and organic rhythms that occur
as one is growing, healing, and becoming more whole in life. These
rhythms have been characterized and explained through Dr. Donald
Epsteins' work titled "The Twelve Stages of Healing "
Associated with these exercises are self-generated dynamic processes,
which dissipate energy stored as tension, enhance structural flexibility,
increase the experience of safety within the body, and demonstrate
characteristic shifts in states of consciousness (i.e. The twelve
stages, or rhythms, of healing).
Exercises from the book, The 12 Stages of Healing, will be your
vehicle for this transformational, life-changing program. Heightened
self-awareness and enhanced healing capability are gifts you will
return home with.
Although a "stand alone" method, these exercises will
also aid your progression through the Levels of Care of
Network Spinal Analysis, and may be performed between office visits.
