What to Expect During Your First Appointment

  • The initial appointment will last 1 to 1-1/2 hours.
  • You will fill out a history form.
  • Dr. Stone will speak with you privately to review your history.
  • Three spinal analysis will be performed. Two using state of the art Surface EMG equipment, and the other is an extensive spinal analysis where the Dr. will use palpation skills. These give an objective clinical picture of spinal tension. See the examples below.
  • You will then work with Dr. Stone using your own hands to develop body awareness. this procedure is called SRI (somato respiratory integration). SRI utilizes breath, touch and movement to develop body awareness allowing maximum progress in the persons healing.
  • You will receive your first entrainment included in the program. An entrainment is the application of gentle touches to reduce spinal tension. (The bound energy entrains to the free energy. You'll understand more when you come in.)

Surface EMG (Surface Electromyography)

This is a graph of the electrical activity of your muscles. It shows which muscles around the spine may be pulling harder than normal, or pulling unevenly. As the patient respond to NSA care, the amount of muscle tension decreases to wellness levels.
